The Count of Midceti

Inadvertently caught in a transylvanian cave by famous Dutch bat authority Jodocus van Haagen, who was gathering samples for his studies on rare bat species. Being very minute in stature, the Count entangled in van Haagen's butterfly net and was discovered starved to death only three days later. 30 years from then, the taxidermied body was secretly auctioned as part of van Haagen's inheritance and thus became subject of this collection.
